Contents of Smart 8 Series

Smart 8 has 4 levels, and each level introduces 6 painters and 6 composers.
You will hear keyboards, strings, chamber music, harps, flute, oboe and guitar through the music CD witch is included in the book.

Music should be taught through sound and movements. That is why we need goot music. The author selected some of the best musicians in the Smart 8 audio CD like Philippe Entremont and Alicia De Larrocha. Music and paintings in Smart 8 are related to each other eigher in style or period or mood.

About Author

Lea Kang

Lea Kang was vorn in Seoul, Korea. She is head of Sekwang Music Education Institute and a member of board of directors for the Dalcroze society in Korea.
She has been teaching piano pedagogy and early childhood music education in graduate schools of Hansei University, Myungji University, Suwon University and Sookmyung Women's University. She hold master degree in piano performance from Kyunghee University in Seoul and in music education from Trinity College of music in London. She has conducted workshops for piano teachers throughtout Korea and Singapore. Recently she presented a Smart 8 showcase in NCKP 2015
